Leading man and versatile character actor Panou (his unique one word birth-name which translates to 'God Among Us' in his native Creole) has lead a remarkable life. Orphaned at the age of 5, Panou was adopted into a North American family. The next few years were fraught with hardship and pain for Panou and he was once again on his own at the age of 15. Alone again for the second time in his life, Panou resolved to create his own future, a path to success inspired by artistic passion, courage and plain-old hard work. He then put himself through high school and eventually University. Panou then began his professional acting career with a role in the feature film, "Trial of a Serial Killer" and hasn�t looked back since. He has had a number of important roles in such film projects as "Steal This Movie" (The Abbie Hoffman Story) and "Airborne", as well as memorable roles in television shows including Fox Family Channels "I Was a Sixth Grade Alien" (Created by Bruce Coville), CTV�s "The City" and Showtime�s "Strange Justice" (Directed by Ernest R. Dickerson), and his latest feature "The Bail" (Written/Directed/Produced by Carl A. Goldstein) among others. With his contagious passion for life he has risen above the early pains and temporary setbacks of his childhood to a place of inner peace and unabashed optimism for the future.
